Take on one of Kitulgala’s most daring canyoning experiences at Mannakethi Ella Falls. This adventure includes advanced confidence jumps up to 40 ft, long natural waterslides, and the thrill of waterfall abseiling. The trek to the falls takes you through lush forest trails above the Girankitha-Oya reservoir, rewarding you with breathtaking scenery and adrenaline-pumping challenges.
Operation Hours
Marvel Canyoning can be done anytime between 8:00 AM and 5:00/6:00 PM, as long as there is sufficient daylight.
Itinerary
Kickoff at the Action Center
Your journey begins at the Rapid Adventure's Action Center, where our team will welcome you and get you geared up. Once you're ready, we’ll take you to the Marvel Canyoning location, tucked away in the lush rainforest of Kitulgala.
Walk into the wild
From the drop-off point, enjoy a short 300–400 meter trek through jungle paths leading to the waterfall base. It's the perfect warm-up to take in the sights and build anticipation.
Safety briefing & gear check
At the site, our expert guides will lead a full safety briefing and help you gear up with high-quality equipment. Every jump and slide is done under close supervision, ensuring your safety without compromising the fun.
Jumps, slides & pure thrills
Ease into the water with smaller jumps and gentle slides, then move on to bigger leaps and thrilling natural slides carved into the rock. Cap off the adventure with an exciting abseil down the main waterfall, followed by a refreshing swim below.
Wrap up and head back
After the experience, we’ll take you back to the Action Center, where you can relax, dry off, and relive your canyoning highlights.
