The boat was smooth and comfortable

This sunset sailing trip was a beautiful surprise. It’s easy to forget how close the ocean is when you're stuck in traffic in Colombo! We set sail from the marina and immediately felt the stress melt away. The view of Port City from the water is striking clean lines, tall buildings, and that warm evening light. The boat was smooth and comfortable, and there was even a chance to jump into the ocean. Paddle boarding was fun too though I mostly just floated and enjoyed the stillness. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the entire sky lit up in orange and pink. It was calming in a way I didn’t expect. Great for couples, friends, or even a solo moment of peace.

The city melted away

After a hectic week in Colombo, this sunset sailing trip was just what I needed. The second we left the marina, the noise and chaos of the city faded away. The view of Port City from the water is surprisingly beautiful modern, quiet, and glowing in the evening light. The boat was spacious and clean, and the crew made everyone feel relaxed.

One of the most relaxing evenings of my trip

The cruise itself was super chill. We mingled with other travelers, enjoyed light music, and just soaked in the views. I loved how easygoing everything felt no strict schedule, just sailing with the wind. The staff handled everything smoothly and made sure we were all comfortable. For something peaceful, scenic, and social, this cruise is perfect. One of the most relaxing evenings of my trip.

Golden Hour Bliss in the City

I’ve done sunset cruises in a few countries, but this one in Colombo was really special. The view of the modern Port City skyline from the water is unexpectedly beautiful. You’re surrounded by calm waves, yet the city is right there... I felt totally refreshed by the end of it. Highly recommend this if you're in Colombo for a few days!

Must do in Colombo !

The best part of this sunset sailing trip was how balanced it felt a little bit of adventure, a little bit of calm, and a whole lot of beauty. The crew welcomed us warmly and explained the route before setting off. As we moved further from the shore, the breeze picked up and the skyline looked absolutely stunning. Watching the sun set behind Colombo Port City while gently rocking on the waves was something else. Must do in Colombo especially if you want to unwind without leaving town.

Worth every rupee...

This sailing trip was the perfect reminder of how refreshing the sea can be. Colombo can be chaotic, but the moment we sailed out from the marina, the air felt different cool, clean, peaceful. The view of Port City from the water gave me a new appreciation for the area. I took some beautiful photos as the buildings lit up with the setting sun behind them. We stopped near a quiet area where a few of us swam and relaxed. The boat was comfortable and not overcrowded, and the atmosphere was light and friendly. No loud music, no pressure just chill vibes and good views. Worth every rupee.
