We had an great experience at Bolagala Agro Floating Resort. Our guider from the hotel was Miss Yashodara and she did a great job. She arranged our time effectively. And also, Mr. Dhanuka helped us and secured our safe throughout the kayaking. Our stay was so amazing with the number of new activities such as kayaking, nature walk, gami gedara, etc. It was a new concept with an beautiful environment. The food was so yummy specially koththu 🤤 and the staff is highly skilled and so friendly. 😍 Highly recommended..❤️❤️
We had a great stay here
The rooms are quite unique, and we had the one with a private pool. There's not much in the area, but the staff are great. We had a guided tour of the hotel on day 1, which was very insightful, as they grow lots of fruit, spices, tea etc on site. We also did a canoe trip. On day 2, we had an ox-trip to some purpose-built mud huts, where we had a go at pottery, loom, and tried the local toddy. The only downside was I struggled to sleep due to a banging noise, which was possibly due to the floating room situation.
Perfect Getaway!
Staying at this floating resort was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was simply perfect. There were plenty of activities to enjoy, keeping us entertained throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, special thanks to Nimasha for her exceptional hospitality. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely love to visit again. Highly recommended!

We spend a very good star in Bolagala Agro Floating Resort for a Day. The hotel is splendid worth beautiful floating gardens. Their staff is very friendly. We had a wonderful time with beautiful nature and food was delicious Good space for activities. Satisfied stay. Environment was pretty and well maintained. Special thanks for the Organic Vegetable Gift.

We visited Bolagala Agro Floating Resort in July 2025, and it was such a memorable experience! The resort offers a stunning and serene setting with beautiful views all around. The floating villas are spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all the modern amenities you’d expect for a comfortable stay.

The concept of the hotel is amazing! We really enjoyed the world class service. The service staff at the restaurant and front office were great. The best was my kayak tour with the life guard who pointed out various interesting birds and the concept of building the place. The agriculture sector was great too and we enjoyed the glasshouse concept. It was lovely to sit in the balcony and enjoy a tea while looking at the lake. View of the sunrise from the rooftop is amazing
